2023-2024 Springfield CP and Safeguarding Policy

Advice and guidance on safeguarding can be found on the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board’s website: https://www.oscb.org.uk

We are required to show exam and assessment results for our pupils at the end of key stage 2 and the end of key stage 4. However, as we are a Special school we believe that you will get a more useful picture of our pupil achievements by reading our latest Ofsted report.

Local Offer

The local offer for SEN and Disability (SEND) brings together information about education, health and care services for children and young people from 0 to 25 with SEND. Please click on this web link for further information.

Support For Parents

We believe that good home school links and communication are essential to a child’s emotional well-being and progress.  We aim to support parents to support their children by publishing information about curriculum themes and guidance for specific activities such as maths and phonics.

It is important for us to know if parents require support in their dealings with the school.  For example, we can make provision for parents who are visually or hearing impaired during school concerns and class assemblies; we can provide support for parents who have language difficulties with either reading or English language; we can also make arrangements for parents with physical disabilities during their visits to school.

If you have a disability or need for support please let us know in confidence so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
