Our theme for the Summer Term is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ and we have had great fun listening to stories, playing and learning about animals.
We loved the ‘Dear Zoo’ story and it was really exciting opening boxes to see what animals the Zoo had sent us.
We also found out what the different animals like to eat and where they live, and in the end some of us knew the story off by heart.
Another favourite story is ‘Walking through the Jungle’ and we are now really good at making all the animal sounds, especially the lion’s ROAR.
We always enjoy our sensory play on a Friday which has been animal themed as well. It can get messy but it is always great fun.
