Nicola and Berit’s class were very excited to walk to Wood Green to attend a concert by ‘Music for Autism’ last Wednesday. As the musicians started playing their instruments, we listened carefully to the classical music and enjoyed the lovely melodies. The chairs were positioned very close to the performers and we almost felt like part of the band.

Some pupils even had a go at conducting, while others danced and moved around as the music was playing. We had fun playing the drum to the music and some children were pretending to play themselves using the plastic tubes that were handed out. Maybe we have some future musicians in our class!

It was great fun and we would like to thank ‘Music for Autism’ for coming to play for us and everybody else at Springfield.
