We are delighted to announce that Abingdon Prep School have chosen Springfield as their charity for this academic year. Springfield Head Teacher, Emma, delivered an assembly at Abingdon Prep this morning to introduce Springfield and to teach the pupils there some sign language. Emma also explained how much Springfield pupils can achieve and can contribute but that often they need extra support either by way of additional care or specialised equipment. The pupils at Abingdon Prep were amazed at how much some of the specialist equipment costs and are excited to get stuck in to their fundraising.
Excitingly, both schools also hope to undertake some joint activities, such as dance or sports workshops. This will have benefits for everyone!
