The pupils in Key Stage 4 would like to invite you to their annual coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 29th September between 10am and 12pm.
The classes have been working hard to bake and organise for the day. It’s always a fun morning and this year you can take part in our doughnut eating competition! All you have to do is eat a whole doughnut without licking your lips – sounds easy but it’s a lot harder than you think!
For all you budding Mary Berry’s and Paul Hollywood’s out there, the classes would be really grateful for any donations of cakes, biscuits and sweet treats they can sell to raise even more money for this worthy cause. Please bring them to the Springfield Secondary site at Wood Green on the morning of Friday 29th September.
As well as raising money for this great cause the event really helps the pupils with their wider learning and life skills, such as managing money, cooking, working as a team and decision making. So it’s a win/win all round!
Please do pop in if you can! We look forward to seeing you!
