Jo’s class have been learning about Easter this term. They have read the Easter story and the children have all worked hard making hot cross buns.       They were delicious!

  This term Emily’s class have been enjoying lots of visits to the park   The Class have been wrapping up warm and heading to the park come rain or shine. The children have been having a fantastic time on the swings, being outdoors and getting some fresh air!            

  Our pupils had a fantastic time last Friday for the Inclusive Folk Day!   The children integrated with 6 pupils from Stanton Harcourt School and had a day listening to folk music, playing musical instruments and learning Makaton signs to songs which will be performed in a concert with 6 other schools in April

 The pupils have been enjoying snacks and drinks at The Methodist Church cafe in town! Cath’s Class have been exploring ‘Daily Living’ – ironing, making a cup of tea; and a sensory story called The Queen’s Knickers! A well attended brewery tour evening was enjoyed by supporters of the Friends of Springfield School. Wychwood brewery in Witney opened their doors to Springfield parents, their friends and work colleagues. This term the theme in Nursery/Reception is animals! The pupils have been dressing up as animals and listening to animal stories. ‘Chocolate Mousse For Greedy Goose’ was very fun. The children acted out the story. The pupils were offered carrots, macaroni and chocolate mousse to taste. There was some great washing up afterwards!
