Key stage 4 put their knowledge to the test at Consumer Quiz

On Tuesday 28th March pupils from Zoe and Angus & Bec’s classes took part in a Consumer Quiz taking on teams from other local special needs schools. The quiz tested the pupils knowledge about things they will find really useful to know as they move into adult life, such as the how to complain when something you buy is not right, how to recognise and avoid scams, how to stay safe online, what is fire safety and how old you need to be to buy different things.

Matt, Harry, Emily and Gabby  made up the Springfield team with the other pupils supporting them and representing the school brilliantly.

Key stage 3 pupils contributed to the day with Kate’s class writing a poem about fire safety that was read out and Claire and Helen’s class made the team’s wondeful felt mascot, Spike.
