A big day out in London for Tim’s class

Tim’s class had a fantastic trip to London this week.

They took in the sights of Buckingham Palace (they waved to the Queen but she was busy signing things) and Trafalgar Square (Tim was sure one of the lions winked at him but no-one believed him!). After parking up on The Southbank they all enjoyed a picnic lunch under The London Eye.

Next they walked over Westminster Bridge to The Houses of Parliament. They enjoyed a fantastic tour of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, as well as Westminser Hall. At the end of the tour they were met by West Oxfordshire MP, Robert Courts, who told them all about life as an MP.

What a brilliant day and fab experience for all the pupils involved!
